Two species of Tarantulas (spiders) from Andhra Pradesh have been declared as critically endangered by the International Union for Conservation of Nature. The Gooty Tarantula found in the Nallamala in Kadapa and Regal Tarantula found in the Eastern Ghats have been put in Red List of IUCN.
