The environmental awareness campaign of Ministry of Environment and Forest is being conducted under the theme ''Climate change at national-level'' in the taluk.

Taluk convener of Karnataka State Science Council and principal of National College, C Nagaraj, has informed that the town unit of the Council is functioning as a nodal local resource agency to further the campaign in the taluk.
