Uranium mining issue

Shillong: In a bid to end the stand-off over the uranium mining issue the Meghalaya government will hold talks with the Khasi Students' Union (KSU) and Coordination Committee for Social Organisation (CCSO) on November 4.

Chief Minister DD Lapang has agreed to hold 'positive talks' with the agitating KSU and CCSO leaders.
