Hundreds of students of Manipal University and schools under the Academy of General Education were given talks on having a clean and green environment on the occasion of World Environment Day here on Friday.

Chancellor Dr Ramdas M Pai flagged off a jatha from the University building. The students later planted saplings near the hockey ground of the Manipal Institute of Technology.
