The overall flood situation in the Upper Assam districts has shown signs of slight improvement, while the situation in the Middle and Lower Assam districts of Morigaon and Dhubri is seemed to be grave.

The mighty Brahmaputra still continues to flow above the danger level (DL) throughout the State even though its water level is receding compared to yesterday.
