Besides raising the CRZ issue, Goa today took up matters of illegal mining and environmental clearances with the Centre.
A strong demand was also made with the Union Minister for Enviornment and Forest Jairam Ramesh for consulting the Goa State Pollution Control Board before environmental clearances are given by the central government.
