Groundwater level in Hosur goes down as major lake dries up
Almost 90 per cent of the residents are depending on their own borewells
THE groundwater level in Hosur industrial town has depleted below 1,000 feet, thanks to the negligence by the Municipality and Public Works Department (PWD) in maintaining Ramanaicken lake, the major water source at the centre of the town.
