Ahmedabad : Exploitation by corrupt government officials can't get more sordid than this. Close to 1,000 workers, below poverty line, in Prantij taluka in Sabarkantha district, were given a minimum wage of Rs 1.50 paise and 150 grams wheat for a family of five for a day's labour for six months instead of Rs 55 assured to them under National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS).
