'I know what my body needs'

I AM just sincere. I also lead a very disciplined life, in every sense .My workout schedule depends on the time. In the off-season, I spend a little more time working out, because if I work hard to prepare for the cricket season then injuries are taken care off, and during the on-season there are no problems. I have reduced my workout time from eight hours to four hours every day.

I don't smoke. I don't drink, except for some wine or champagne on occasion; and there are not too many late nights, As for food, everything in bits and pieces. In sports, you can't cheat yourself, I don't have to practice for anybody but for myself, I don't need a teacher. I know what my body requires.

During the past two-three months, after the Hero Cup, I had a shoulder problem. I'll take a little time off, if I can, and correct the shoulder during the off-season, possibly after the New Zealand tour.
