Jharia survey to resume - Researchers agree to restart work following rate revision
The socio-economic survey of underground fire-affected families of Jharia coalfield region, which was stalled midway over a rate dispute, is set to start again.
Rehabilitation and resettlement in-charge of Jharia Rehabilitation and Development Authority (JRDA) Gopal Ji said new rates had been fixed for carrying out survey work, which is likely to resume with Kujama area of Jharia within a week.
