SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Government will seek Rs 27,000 crore from the Planning Commission for the 12th five year plan. The proposed amount for the next five years was approved by the State Cabinet on Wednesday. Simultaneously, the Cabinet also approved the annual plan for the year 2012 at Rs 3535 crore. Today’s Cabinet approval formalized the proposal made by the Chief Minister on the floor of the house during the just concluded session of the state assembly.
