The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has promised funds to Rajasthan in the power sector besides the bank's traditional areas of agriculture and rural development. The State has been told that if it can spend, additional funds to the tune of Rs.500 crore could be made available in the current year itself in the mandated sectors.
