Narsinghpur: NTPC is aggressively implementing the capacity addition program to add 4480 MW capacity in the western region during the XIIth plan. With this the NTPC's installed capacity in the western region will be touching over 12000 MW. During 2010-11, Western Region is going to add 1160 MW capacity by adding country's first 660 MW unit at Sipat and 500 MW unit at Korba in Chattisgarh.
