The Ladli Laxmi Yojana implemented by the Madhya Pradesh government has rid the society of its tendency of considering girl child as a curse. The scheme launched by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan on May 27, 2007 from Raisen district has given several benefits to the girls in the state. This is why Ladli Laxmi Yojana is gaining tremendous popularity in Madhya Pradesh.
