Dumping Of Puja Material In The River

Lucknow: All the material used in religious rituals is dispersed in nullahs and rivers and pollutes water bodies while even the banks of the river remain piled with such waste. Objects of worship like idols in all their finery are dumped irreverently into the Gomti river and littered around trunks of trees.
