SAIL to spend Rs 5,000 cr to revive Jagdishpur unit
LUCKNOW: Public sector giant Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) will spend over Rs 5,000 crore to revive its unit in Jagdishpur. The project may include a 1,000 mw gas-based power plant to be set up in collaboration with Japan's Kobe Steel.
The 50% of the power will be used for the steel plant and the remaining would be given to the national power grid.
