BJP State President and Member of Parliament Narendra Singh Tomar expressed concern over the depleting investment in agriculture and said that contribution of agriculture in national gross domestic product (GDP) was 17 per cent. Plan expenses on agriculture has come done to two to three per cent. In the year 1950 contribution of agriculture was 55 per cent which had come down to 17 per cent.
