The draft plan 2025 relies on water supply from the Bisalpur dam for Jaipur. For the new satellite towns around the city, the draft plan says the groundwater resources would take care of the needs. At the same time, the draft plan acknowledges that the groundwater in these areas too is depleting and its quality is also deteriorating.
