Udhagamandalam: The opposition to the declaration of the Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary as a Tiger Reserve and consequent tightening of wildlife related rules took a new turn on Tuesday.

A group of persons from Masinagudy and surroundings adjoining the reserve allegedly stormed into the office of the wildlife ranger Duraiswamy and used harsh words.
