NIZAMABAD, Jan. 3: Abnormal delay in release of Singur water to the ayacut under Nizamsagar project is adversely affecting the standing crops in the rabi season.

Opposition party MLAs have also strongly demanded the early release of water from the Singur balancing reservoir. So far, the state government has not responded positively.
