Environment Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka yesterday announced that the Vienna convention has provided a sum of US$ 490 million for the protection of the ozone layer.
Minister Ranawaka made this announcement at a felicitation ceremony organized by the parliament to felicitate him on his election as the President of the Vienna Convention in Doha Qatar recently.
