The Kuwait government has agreed to provide US$ 42 million for the Moragahakanda project, Agriculture Development Minister Maithripala Sirisena said.

The minister added Saudi Arabia, OPEC and JAICA had also pledged financial assistance to this mega irrigation scheme.
