SHILLONG: Meghalaya has recorded a high of 149 deaths from malaria cases till September this year .Majority of them are from Garo Hills. A senior government official said that the total number of deaths for this year might rise as all the figures were yet to collated. A large number of death cases go unreported, the official admitted on Monday.
