A religious ceremony in connection with a programme to provide potable water and toilet facilities to 1500 temples in remote parts of the country was inaugurated at the Kataragama Kiriwehera and the Hunupitiya Gangarama worksite yesterday.

The project has been implemented under the guidance of the Chief Incumbent of the Gangarama Temple, the Ven. Galaboda Gnanissara Thera.
