Karnataka government, if necessary, will formulate a special law to recover the losses incurred due to illegal mining in the state. According to an official statement issued from the office of Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa, the state government has already issued notices to more than 165 mineral traders involved in illegal iron ore trade.
