- Rs 51 crore plan to lay new pipelines from Damodar to city will take another year
Residents of Chas, living through a severe water crisis, are looking at another year of hardship with the Rs 51.02 crore project to lay a new pipeline to the city staring at further delays despite assurances to the contrary by deputy chief minister Hemant Soren.

The Union government funded project, okayed in 20
