PANJIM: All mining companies may now have to submit their annual report on exploration work carried out at the site along with mining operation to Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM).

Ministry of Mines in fresh draft guidelines released for Reporting of Mineral Reserves and Resources under United Nations Framework Classification (UNFC) has decided to implement the same, failing which action would be initiated by cancellation of mining lease for violating Mineral Conservation and Development Rules (MCDR), 1988.
