The State government will move Ministry of Environment and Forests seeking Rs. 2.14 crore assistance for overall development of Similipal Biosphere Reserve.

A management action plan that has been prepared keeping in mind the infrastructure and manpower requirement has been approved by Biosphere Reserve Management Council headed by Chief Secretary J. K. Mohapatra here on Thursday.
