Question raised in Lok Sabha on Solid Waste, 28/12/2018. As per the information available with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) 52.9 Million Ton per Annum (MTPA) of solid waste is generated in the country, out of which, 46% is processed. The State/UT-wise details are enclosed in the Annexure.
