Judgement of the National Green Tribunal (Western Zone Bench, Pune) in the matter of Sangli Zilla Sudhar Samiti Vs Chief Secretary PWD State of Maharashtra dated 12/08/2014 on the issue of the proposed plan of 6-lane wide road in between Pushpraj Chowk to Vishrambag Chowk on Sangli - Miraj Road and for preparing a new plan taking into consideration minimum fully grown up trees would have to be cut down while broadening the said road.
