The Counsel appearing for the State as well as the Project Proponent submit that the stone crusher in question has been closed and no activity of crushing of stone or any other stone crushing activity is being carried on at the site in question.

Judgement of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Jagannath Mane Vs Union of India & Others dated 29/01/2016 regarding Environmental Clearances granted for the purpose of carrying out stone mining in the land bearing Khasra No. 748 of village Nahalda, Teshil and District Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh. NGT dismisses the Application.

Order of the National Green Tribunal (Central Zonal Bench, Bhopal) in the matter of Jagannath Mane Vs. Union of India & Ors dated 19/03/2015 on whether the
industrial estate located in village Turfikunbi, District Khandwa is a forest land and therefore in terms of the provisions of the Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980 no non forest activity is permissible in the aforesaid land.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Jagannath Mane Vs. Union of India & Ors dated 10/10/2013 regarding renewal of the mining lease. NGT also stated that the respondent project proponents to whom
the contracts and mining leases have been awarded by the State shall not carry out any mining activity without having obtained the Environmental Clearance from the competent authority in accordance with law.
