Judgement of the High Court of Delhi in the matter of Manohar Lal Sharma Vs Central Bureau of Investigation dated 16/09/2014 regarding colony licenses issued by the Department of Town and Country Planning (DTCP), Haryana during 2005 to 2012 allegedly in contravention of the provisions of the Haryana Development and Regulations of Urban Areas Act, 1975 as well as the alleged illegal land deals in the State of Rajasthan creating huge loss to the public exchequer.

In a landmark judgement on 25 August 2014, the Supreme Court declared illegal all allocation of coal blocks between 1993  and 2010 and cancelled the allocation of nearly 200 coal blocks.
