Nellore, Oct. 31: The minister for information and public relations and tourism, Mr Anam Ramnarayana Reddy, indicated to plans to set up mineral water plants in different parts of Nellore town for supply of purified drinking water to citizens at a subsidised cost of 10 paise per litre. He said that an NGO, the Byrraju Foundation had come forward to set up the units, following his initiative.

Nellore, Sept. 30: Government has prepared a comprehensive action plan to address the drinking water needs of Srikalahasthi, Tiruchanoor, Tirupati, Srinivasamangapuram and Chittoor town at an estimated cost of Rs 340 crore.
