The matter related to dumping of sewage by unauthorized trucks/vehicles on roads and drains resulting in pollution and damage to environment.

The tribunal by its order, December 21, 2022 had taken note of the recommendation of the joint committee report, December 18, 2022 and directed the Chief Secretary to take up follow up action in coordination with the concerned departments/authorities.

At present, no specific area for collection of septage tanks has been earmarked to the vendors and they can collect septic waste from any place throughout Delhi.
