Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Vijay Kumar Malhotra Vs Uttarakhand Environment Protection and Pollution Control Board & Others dated 17/07/2020. Grievance in this application is that Himalayan Food Park Pvt. Ltd., Kashipur, District Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand is operating in violation of environmental norms near Jim Corbett National Park. Neither the green belt has been developed around the complex nor ETP/STP has been set up. No spare land has been provided for development of green belt.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Khatima Fibres Ltd. Vs. Uttarakhand Environment Protection and Pollution Control Board & Others dated 11/07/2017 regarding pollution caused by Khatima Fibres Ltd., Udham Singh Nagar District, Uttarakhand.

NGT directs that Khatima Fibres Ltd. shall bring its TSS (Total Suspended Solid) value as close as possible to 30 mg/l and would also ensure that their effluent from the outlet of the ETP is recycled to the extent it is possible but in any case not more than 25% of the effluent shall be discharged into the drain.

Judgement of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Khatema Fibres Limited Vs Uttarakhand Environment Protection and Pollution Control Board & Others dated 04/05/2016 on the issue whether the applicant industry uses or does not use chemical in its pulping process and whether it generates any black liquor. Tribunal permits the industry to operate for a period of 6 months at the first instance and then to its optimum capacity and it would be subject to a surprise joint 

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of ALPS Industries Ltd. Vs. U.E.P.P.C.B. & Ors. dated 01/03/2016 regarding pollution caused by the textile industry ( Alps Industries Ltd.) Uttarakhand.

NGT orders for a joint inspection of the industry to be conducted by the CPCB, State Pollution Control Board, IIT Roorkee and the Inspection, preferably should be in the first instance of the spinning units.
