Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of R.S. ChauhanVs. State of Uttrakhand & Ors. dated 22/01/2014 regarding construction of STP in Municipal Corporation, Dehradun, Uttrakhand. The Learned Counsel appearing for the Corporation shall file an Affidavit as to what is the distance between STP and the river bank where the drain joins the river. Also NGT has directed the counsel appearing for the Pollution Control Board to file an Affidavit upon
physical inspection as to whether any industries are in existence and discharge their effluents into drain in question and the drain that starts from Shashtri Nagar to River Bank.
