Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Vardhaman Kaushik Vs. Union of India & Others dated 06/03/2017 regarding dumping sites at Ghazipur and Bhalswa, Mukraba Chowk, Delhi. Photographs submitted before NGT shows indiscriminate burning of waste. The photographs are showing the dumps of waste which are already much beyond the prescribed limit and are on fire. The gases emission visibly are highly polluting and dangerous to human health.

NGT orders for a Committee to be constituted consisting of Member Secretary, Central Pollution Control Board; Member Secretary, Delhi Pollution Control Committee and Chief Engineers of the respective Municipal Corporations who will visit the site and would submit a report to the Tribunal.
