Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Aali Vihar Vikas Manch Vs State of (Govt. of NCT of) Delhi & Others dated 11/12/2018 regarding jeans and other dyeing units located in Bhim colony, Aali Vihar and Sarita Vihar, New Delhi causing hazard to the environment. According to the applicant, at least 50 such factories are working causing air, water and noise pollution in the area and also chocking the water flow systems.

NGT directs constitution of a joint Committee comprising representatives of Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi Pollution Control Committee and SDM, South East to ascertain facts and take action as per law. The joint Committee will furnish a report to this Tribunal about the factual aspects and the action taken.
