Order of the National Green Tribunal (Principal Bench, New Delhi) in the matter of Vinod Kumar Jain Vs. NCT of Delhi & Ors. dated 20/08/2015 regarding installation of rain water harvesting systems in every government buildings of Delhi.

The Tribunal in its order also said that as far as new Government projects are concerned including flyovers, bridges or any other construction carried out by the Government itself or through its Agencies or contractors, they would ensure that no project is approved without a specific stipulation in the tenders documents itself that they would have to construct adequate capacity rain water harvesting systems as part of their project.
