Order of the National Green Tribunal (Principal Bench, New Delhi) in the matter of Social Action for Forest & Environment (SAFE) Vs. Union of India & Ors. dated 27/07/2015 regarding operation of the rafting camps on River Ganga from Shivpuri to Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.

In this Application several reliefs have been sought by the Applicant against the Camping activity along the banks of River Ganga from Shivpuri to Rishikesh and for restoration of the area which has suffered substantial damage on account of such camping activity.
