Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of T. N. Godavarman Thirumulpad Vs Union of India & Others dated 17/02/2017 regarding constructions in the Central Ridge area, Delhi by the Border Roads Organization (BRO). The affidavit filed on behalf of the Union of India by Colonel Joydip Mukherjee, Administrative Commandant, Delhi Cantonment, New Delhi assured the Supreme Court that the recommendations of the CEC as well as the Ridge Management Board will be strictly complied with.

In view of the Union of India accepting these conditions, permission to take necessary steps for construction of infrastructure on defence land in area adjacent to the Central Ridge Area, Delhi is granted.
