Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of Madhya Pradesh Pollution Control Board Vs Madhya Pradesh Mining Corporation & Others dated 11/01/2016 regarding environmental clearance for mining of sand and bajri.

The petition is disposed of as the Court noted that in the case of Deepak Kumar and others Vs. State of Haryana and others [(2012) 4 SCC 629] Court had had clearly stated that environmental clearance is required for mining of sand and bajri and the State Governments were directed to frame rules accordingly.
