• The ngo movement has been growing in China, especially in the last year. The Chinese government is changing its attitude towards ngo s. They now think that ngo s are important.

• We want to see ngo s develop in more areas. We want to set up an ngo network. China has a great potential for the development of ngo s. But they need help in interacting among themselves, and with others outside China. For many, finance is a big problem.

• Though the situation is still difficult, things are somewhat better now. I think the future is positive. The public and media are paying more and more attention to ngo activity.
