As many as 77 cases of Hepatitis ‘A’, 528 gastroenteritis and 1,300 typhoid cases have been reported from the district between January to May.

According to District Surveillance Officer for Epidemic Diseases Dr A V Narayanaswamy, the doctors team has visited the places and have controlled the diseases within two days of its outbreak.
