Pune The System of Air Pollution Forecasting and Research (SAFAR) developed by Pune scientists at the Indian Institute of Tropical Meterology (IITM) to give air quality at a given time and predict what it will be 24 hours later has come in for praise from the UN. SAFAR will also be put to use during Commonwealth Games in Delhi.
