The government will also invoke the Revenue Recovery Act against ineligible persons who benefited from the scheme.

The Chief Minister, Mr K. Rosaiah, took decisions to this effect at a review meeting on Monday.

Officials told the Chief Minister that of the 80 lakh houses sanctioned, 27 lakh houses were completed and another 17 lakh were under construction.
