Arbi patode

Take 250 grams besan (gram powder), add salt, chilli, coriander powder and garam masala (a mixture of different sprices) to taste. Add baking soda and mix with water to the consistency of curd (same as that for making pakode).

Wash leaves and dry, ensuring the leaf pieces should be of manageable size. Spread the besan mix on the leaf and roll it. Steam the roll for 15 minutes
