A climate change study cell was launched at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology on Sunday in a bid to create awareness of climate change risk.
Speakers at the launching ceremony said the low-lying topography, natural disasters and widespread poverty, high population and poor institutional development have made Bangladesh more vulnerable to climate changes.
