June 21: The Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy, on Sunday asked the APTransco chairman and managing director, Mr Sudhirth Bhattacharya to replace 3.36 lakh transformers and 1.65 lakh distribution transformers across the state in order to boost the power infrastructure in the state. If it is implemented, it would become the biggest capacity addition in the history of the power sector.
