The Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board recently had identified seven dyeing units operating illegally despite the Madras High Court's closure orders.

TNPCB's District Environmental Engineer R. Kannan told The Hindu that the Board had lodged complaints against all the seven units with the respective police stations.
